Do I need to repeat the food intolerance test every year? Print

Food intolerances can change over time.  Sometimes multiple reactions can result from other health issues such as ‘leaky gut syndrome' or a candida infection.  If you are working with a naturopath or nutritionist, you may be able to resolve those issues and reduce your reactivity to different foods.  If so, you probably want to retest to see if you remain allergic to all the same foods.  Remember that you will need to try those foods again before the retest (again, avoiding any foods that you had an immediate hypersensitivity- IgE- reaction to).  Wait at least 6 months before doing a retest. You may choose to repeat the test every 2 or 3 years after that, or if you area diagnosed with a new medical condition.  This is just a one way to achieve better health.

Although it is often said that money can't buy health, sometimes investing a few dollars can make a huge difference in your health.  Allergysmarts Food Intolerance test is a cost effective way to help you achieve a better understanding of the foods that can have a negative affect on your health.
